Doc C has to go to campus tomorrow for some start-of-the-semester stuff, so he had to make sure he'd done all of his homework today. Whilst he was doing that I read and tried to find a comfortable position to sit in, because my lower back is killing me. Ahh, the last couple of weeks of pregnancy! So much fun!
The book I grabbed off the shelf was Jacqueline Susann's "Once is Not Enough", and it is unbelievably tacky and entertaining. There is more plot in the first fifty pages of this paperback than in a year of any soap opera you care to mention, and I've just discovered there is a film version starring Kirk Douglas! OMG! Well, I'm going to have see that now clearly, I can't imagine it being anything but fabulously dreadful.
