- A couple of years ago I bought a lunch bag from Built NY, and loved it, still love it and use it every day for lunch.
- When I bought my new camera I also got a Built NY Hoodie Camera Case - Ultra Compact in exactly the same pattern (colourful "micro dots" exterior, which has a really fun fiery orange lining) as my lunch bag.
- Just before we flew to Las Vegas I got an electrical gubbins organiser in "city grid" (it's actually called a "Cargo Travel Organizer") to put all of my geeky gadgets in, essentially to make going through airport security easier but also to keep my hand luggage tidy.
Clearly as a repeat customer I am on the Built NY mailing list, and I got an e-mail from them yesterday announcing their new patterns - The swines have brought out a classic black and white polka dot and it has a magenta interior! It matches my courier bag! I may have clicked on the link and just drooled for a little while over the co-ordination possibilities, before remembering that I am never really that put-together and that I don't NEED a new lunch bag or camera case or electrical gubbins organiser. No, I don't!
Then this morning I ordered a Hoodie Camera Case to keep my iPod in because it's current case is so much bigger than the iPod itself and that seems daft. Right? This will fit in my pocket more neatly, take up less room in my bag and it has a wrist strap, which is good right? In my defence I did not go for the polka dots, because as a new pattern it's at full price of $15.99 and the city grid pattern (which I also love and which will match my electrical gubbins organiser) was reduced to $8.99 - so I got that instead.
Ok, I might have a slight addiction to Built NY products, and I should probably stay off their website whilst I'm in possession of a credit card. It's just lucky they don't do baby stuff really, please nobody suggest that to them - I'd be powerless to resist.
