I was very pleased with myself when I realised that our wire shelves would fit perfectly under the stairs and be easily accessible from the kitchen. Perfect! What was less than perfect was the amount of dust and cat hair that fell on them, necessitating the washing of anything that was stored on them before use.
So Doc C decided to move the shelves out from under the stairs, and onto the narrow wall between the downstairs bathroom and the study. This is considerably less dusty, but it does mean that the shelves are pretty much the first thing you see when you walk through the door.
I've re-homed most of the baking trays in a cupboard, and tried to make this more pleasing to the eye with arrangements of objects and the odd pop of graphics. Oh, and Disco Chicken, of course.
I still don't really like it very much though. Suggestions?
