This morning I had CPR training for four hours, mostly it was watching the training DVD demonstrations and then practicing what we had learnt on those creepy dummy torsos. The creepiest thing being they sort of have my hair do, but in molded flesh coloured plastic.
After the practical there was an exam and I was very pleased to see it was all multiple choice questions. To pass the course and have earnt the American Red Cross certification I need to have got 80% on all three sections of the exam.
The answer sheets are being sent to the Red Cross, so I won't know for a while if I passed or not - But if I do then I'll get a little ID card to carry around.
