Ironically, given the last post, I realised that I'm actually not reading as much as I used to, mainly because it's hard to knit/crochet and read at the same time. Instead I tend to have the TV on in the background, and I want to get out of that habit. It's fine if I'm making stuff whilst watching something I want to see, but sometimes I just choose the least worst thing on and find myself watching back-to-back episodes of season 3 of "Housewives of Good Grief Why Are They ALL Shouting?".
Instead I'd like to listen to some audio books, but they all seem so expensive (Not that they aren't worth the money, I can understand that recording an unabridged audio book would be very time consuming, and naturally I want to listen to a talented reader, so I do get why there is a cost attached) so I'm reluctant to buy them until I know I will really use them. So then I tried podcasts and I found a couple by the simple expedient of browsing through iTunes, but I always find that a little bit overwhelming. Are there any really great podcasts out there I should catch up on?
Any suggestions in the comments please!
