This weekend I did a lot of knitting and not much else. It was very nice.
What I should have been doing is getting ready for a trip to Los Angeles, because we're going on Wednesday and unless my laundry dries super-fast I'm not going to have anything to wear. I'm not sure I have anything suitable to wear in LA anyway, but I'm guessing something is better than nothing. Right now the only thing I have ready to pack is three swimming costumes, because our hotel has a swimming pool, a whirlpool hot tub and a sauna. I am going to look like a wrinkly lobster.
I also need to have decided what to pack by tomorrow evening, because our flight is at four o'clock in the freaking morning. Which means we have to leave the house before two. This is the part of the trip I'm not looking forward to, but what can you do?
