My second entry in the Threadknits contest is based on this t-shirt, Adorable Disaster:
I love the playful kittens, but if they weren't playing with a hand grenade I don't think I'd have bought this tee; it would have been just too cutesy. Mainly I wanted to use this image, because Nancy looks almost exactly like the kitten on the right.
So I made a hand grenade cat toy, and the cats modeled for photos beautifully. They are so accommodating to the crazy human female. It's unfortunate that the one shot I got of Nancy in a good approximation of the t-shirt cat's pose is blurred, but she was just moving so fast!
Nancy was meant to be the star of this photo shoot, but Edith does love the camera and the camera loves her right back.
It's probably a good thing that I didn't stuff it with catnip, because imagine how insane she would have gone.
Nancy did get to make a little film though!
