This was my first knitting project, which I made and wore for Halloween. For costume styling purposes I highly recommend also putting on a hat, or a head scarf, because that makes the wig looks much more like cartoon character hair.
I actually really like it as a hat, because it's really comfy and has nice ear coverage. It's quite a light hat though, so I've been wearing it over the top of a crocheted wool skull cap to add in an extra layer and keep my hair from poking out.
I didn't make a real Green Queen mask, just this virtual one, for one thing to keep the old secret identity in place and for another to cover up how tired I look. Stupid Mono!
