We haven't had a supermarket post for ages have we? Let's fix that!
As you can see this is a photo of a shelf displaying, for want of a better term, fancy goods. On the left we have lumpfish caviar (black and red), pate, tinned snails, liver pate, eggplant appetizer (that would really be aubergine of course) and finally marmite.
Of course I am always delighted to take note of supermarkets that sell my beloved yeast extract, because otherwise what would I put on my toast? However, please note that this would be the smallest jar of marmite available in the UK, and it is more expensive then any of these other delicacies with the exception of only the black lumpfish caviar.
It's little things like this that make me feel as though I am through the looking-glass sometimes.
